For Black Friday, 65 inch TV deals mostly come down to three brands. TCL, Hisense and Samsung all sell 65-inch sets that look alike in an ad. The specs that matter are panel type, native refresh rate and how many HDMI ports run at 2.1. Compare those first, then compare price.

I’ve set up and used TVs for years, and the size is the easy part. The ports are where people get burned. So the table below sticks to what each maker or major store page says today, and it marks everything else as not stated.

65 inch TV deals for Black Friday: the specs that matter

Here is what the maker and store pages say today. The prices are what they listed on October 26, before any Black Friday event. The sale itself starts November 27, 2026.

65-inch modelPanel (per page)Native refreshHDMI portsPrice read
TCL 65QM7KQD-Mini LED144Hz (TCL)4, one with eARC; 2.1 ports not stated$899.99, sold out in 65″ (TCL store)
TCL 65QM8KQD-Mini LED144Hz (TCL)4, one with eARC; 2.1 ports not stated$1,299.99, sold out in 65″ (TCL store)
Hisense 65U7SG (2026)Mini-LEDNot stated on Best Buy’s pageNot stated$999.99, tagged “Top Deal” (Best Buy)
Samsung 65 Q7FQLEDNot stated; “Motion Xcelerator 60Hz”Not stated$629.99 (Samsung)

Notice how many cells say “not stated.” That is the real finding. Makers like to print a big number on the ad and leave the port details for the manual.

What does each spec mean?

Panel type sets contrast. Mini-LED and OLED usually beat plain LED in a dark room. Native refresh rate is how often the panel redraws. A 120Hz or 144Hz panel looks smoother with fast action and games. HDMI 2.1 is the port type a game console needs for 4K at 120Hz. If only one or two ports run at 2.1, save them for your console, and note which port carries eARC for the soundbar.

It is common to buy a TV with four HDMI ports and find only one or two that do what you need.

When a page does not say, do not guess. Search the model number plus the word “manual” on the maker’s support site. The port table in the manual names which inputs run at 2.1. That takes two minutes and saves a return.

Which 65 inch TV deals are worth it this year?

Deal-week update: verified deals go in this section once stores post them. Until then, a 65-inch deal is worth a look if it passes four tests.

  • Same model number: it matches a set the maker lists on its own site.
  • Real low price: it is at or near the lowest the set has hit.
  • Spec floor: native 120Hz or better and at least two HDMI 2.1 ports, if you game.
  • Fair return terms: a 65-inch set is hard to ship back, so check how you can return it.

65 inch TV deals: TCL, Hisense and Samsung

TCL 65QM7K and 65QM8K: the most stated specs

TCL’s pages are the most open of the three. Both list a native 144Hz panel, four HDMI ports with one eARC, and a one-year limited warranty. TCL does not say which ports run at 2.1, so check the manual. On TCL’s own store, both 65-inch models showed as sold out today, so look for the exact model number at other stores. The 65QM7K is the clearer pick. The 65QM8K costs $400 more on TCL’s list for brighter specs, so skip it unless a sale closes most of that gap.

Hisense 65-inch U7: the model-number maze

Best Buy lists the 2026 65U7SG at $999.99 today, but its page does not state the refresh rate or the HDMI ports. Hisense has sold the U7 name across several model years, and each year has its own model number. So the ending of the model number matters. Skip any Hisense deal where you cannot match the full model number to a spec table. If the store page leaves the ports blank, the Hisense support page for that exact model number is where to look for the manual.

Samsung 65-inch Q7F: the low-price option

Samsung lists the 65-inch Q7F at $629.99. The page calls the set QLED and gives a “Motion Xcelerator 60Hz” rating, but no native rate or port details. That is fine for a bedroom TV. However, gamers should skip it unless a spec sheet shows high-refresh ports.

65 inch TV deals: the price step between tiers

Price per feature is easy math here. Samsung’s Q7F at $629.99 and TCL’s 65QM7K at its $899.99 list sit $270 apart. For that $270, the TCL page states a mini-LED panel, a native 144Hz rate and four HDMI ports. The Samsung page states none of those. If you play games or watch sports, that gap is the cheapest upgrade on the table. If you watch the news in the kitchen, it is not.

Also remember that a 65-inch set is heavy and awkward, so delivery and haul-away terms are part of the price. Keep in mind these are early prices read before the sale. Black Friday may move them, so use this as a baseline, not a forecast.

Which 65 inch TV deals should you pick?

Wait if you can. Cyber Monday is November 30, and January brings new models, so a set that is not at its low on Friday may reach it later. None of the store pages I read named TV early-access dates, so do not plan around them.

Pick by what you watch. If you game or watch fast sports, the TCL 65QM7K has the most stated specs for the money. For the lowest price and mostly shows, the Samsung Q7F fits. Want a Hisense? Wait for a listing that shows the full model number and ports.

Finally, if I were spending my own money, I would start with the TCL 65QM7K spec sheet, then confirm which ports run at 2.1 in the manual before paying. For the sound, our soundbar comparison helps, and the apps are covered in our streaming box comparison.

Frequently asked questions about 65 inch tv deals

What should a 65-inch Black Friday TV have?

At least a native 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 ports if you game. Without gaming, a solid panel and good return terms matter more. Always match the model number to the maker’s spec table.

Is 65 inches the best size for Black Friday TV deals?

It is one of the most popular sizes, so it tends to get plenty of sale models. Many living rooms suit 65 inches. Measure your seating distance and stand width before you buy.

Are TCL and Hisense TVs as good as Samsung?

The pages I read show TCL printing more specs than Samsung does for these models. That does not settle quality. It does mean TCL’s pages make a fair comparison easier.

Can I return a 65-inch TV bought on Black Friday?

Yes, within the store’s window. Best Buy says TVs over 50 inches cannot go back with a prepaid label, and most products get 15 days for standard customers. Check the window before you buy.
