Algal oil is the pick if you’re vegan or want a DHA-forward option with the cleanest sustainability story, and krill oil — despite a real absorption advantage — is hard to justify once you price it per gram of omega-3 actually delivered. The interesting part is how big the gaps are, so let’s put numbers on them.
What’s actually inside each softgel?
All three exist to deliver the same two fatty acids, EPA and DHA — but the concentration varies enormously by source.
